With the heavy snow we got in Denver this past October we also got extensive damage to our trees. Now is the best time for our arborist to evaluate, trim and prune storm damaged trees. There are a couple reasons for this; the faster you have proper tree trimming / pruning cuts made to the damaged portion of your tree the quicker the tree can begin to heal; it is better for the arborist to evaluate the extent of the tree’s loss of its canopy prior to the blossoming of new growth; and, it is easier for you, as a customer, to see that all of the damage has been properly pruned / trimmed. It is important that a professional tree service is hired to perform your work. An inexperienced person can do more harm than good to your tree’s overall health and longevity.
